Job Description
The purpose of this role is to design, develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load)
and reporting solutions using Azure and MSBI technologies (Synapse pipelines, SQL Server,
SSIS, etc.), work on ETL and data related projects are directed, and support current business
reporting platforms including Python and PySpark development.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
● Translate business requirements into efficient technical design.
● Undertake problem analysis, process improvements and efficient issues resolutions.
● Perform a range of data migration and manipulation activities including data analysis,
data mapping, data modelling, and data cleansing.
● Manage current BI and Data Engineering solutions.
● Take responsibility for the successful deployment of developed products within the
specified environments.
● Creating and maintaining detailed documentation to ensure effective handovers and
knowledge transfer.
● Ensure all relevant helpdesk jobs are monitored and resolved in a timely manner
Key Skills and Capabilities:
● Good software development experience, with the last 2 years in core MSBI / ETL/
Synpase pipelines
● Good knowledge of ETL solution and design.
● Database implementation and enhancement.
● Experience of developing Azure Synapse pipelines and datalake solutions
● Good SQL Server programming skills using T-SQL.
● Knowledge of designing and developing SSIS solutions including using script task.
Qualifications and Requirements:
● Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or business discipline (desirable).
● Relevant experience in similar roles.
● Experience working directly with clients.
● Subject to business demands, additional hours may be required
Salary
₱50,000 – ₱70,000 per month
