Job Description
As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain a high-performance data warehouse that supports business intelligence and analytics. You will manage ETL processes, optimize data storage, ensure compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources-driving innovation in telecommunications data management.

Shift: Day Shift, Mon – Fri 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM (Weekends off)
Work setup: Hybrid (SM Megatower, Ortigas)
Salary: PHP 140,000 + 1-Month Sign-on Bonus

The Qualifications We Seek
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on data warehousing, ETL processes, and large-scale data systems.
Proficiency with dbt and dagster or equivalent data orchestration tools.
Experience in AWS Redshift for data warehousing and processing.
Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of data processes.
Experience managing large data volumes and complex data models.
Knowledge of data integration and orchestration tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Your Daily Tasks
Act as a bridge between analysts and system developers, designing efficient data warehouse solutions.
Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion workflows to ensure data integrity.
Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to support analytics and reporting.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse, resolving bottlenecks as needed.
Implement data security, compliance, and governance protocols, including encryption and access controls.
Work closely with Data Analysts to provide clean, well-structured data for strategic decision-making.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance data engineering processes.
