Job Description
The Database Administrator monitors and maintains a multi-server environment, assists with certification and security remediation, and develops processes for server maintenance, backup, recovery, and clustering. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, maintaining documentation, packaging software releases, supporting data calls, and upholding business standards. The role involves administering databases, proposing improvements, implementing security solutions, preparing backup and recovery plans, and performing data recovery. Additionally, the administrator maps out database designs, installs and tests DBMS versions, maintains data standards, writes documentation, and controls access permissions.
