Job Summary:
The Data Quality Engineer is responsible in ensuring data quality across the end-to-end data life cycle. He/she is tasked to surface data quality issues, identify sub-optimal data processes and recommend corrective actions, process control and improvements. as a Data Quality Engineer shall develop data quality metrics and monitor data quality performance to ensure that the bank meets data quality standards.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify data quality gaps and and areas for data quality improvement
Develop codes to measure data quality metrics and deliver data quality monitoring reports
Conduct continuous review of data processes and system performance to identify patterns and trends that may indicate errors, inconsistencies, redundancy and inefficiency
Recommend appropriate correction, process control and process improvement mechanisms to address data issues and data quality gaps
Develop and implement new data quality processes to increase data integrity
Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, Statics, and Physics
Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles and standards
Understanding of data process flow
Data programming / coding
Aptitude to learn new technology
At least 3 years’ work experience in data and analytics.
