Job Description
The Research and Data Specialist role shall greatly contribute to the financial planning and analysis, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights and support strategic financial decision-making.
Key responsibilities include driving financial performance by analyzing results, coordinating budgets and forecasts, and ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives. The Research and Data Specialist will also identify opportunities for process improvements, streamline reporting, and enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
Job Description:
Providing financial updates to management by analyzing and reporting accurate data.
Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Overseeing financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management.
Conducting variance analysis to identify differences between actual performance and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
Supporting long-term strategic planning through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Collaborating with various departments to align financial plans with business operations.
Driving continuous improvements in financial planning and reporting processes, and implementing automation where feasible.
Conducting industry benchmarking and research to support financial planning efforts.
Maintaining confidentiality of financial data and plans.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or Economics is required
Accredited Financial Analyst certification is an advantage
3+ years proven related experience or with 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools
Knowledge and familiarity in financial models
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Salary
₱40,000 – ₱45,000 per month
