As an Actuarial Analyst, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert for benefit administration systems, ensuring seamless employee-level data transactions across platforms. Collaborating with service, consulting teams, and employers, you’ll apply your expertise in math, statistics, or finance to solve complex problems and communicate insights that drive smarter benefits strategies.

The Qualifications We Seek
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of actuarial experience in insurance or financial services
Background in medical insurance or knowledge of group products (e.g., medical plan costs, pharmacy components, and claims) preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate insights effectively
Proficiency in Claros or similar actuarial tools is an advantage
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex functions, data analysis, and reporting); experience with Power BI is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and functions
Your Daily Tasks
Collaborate with the underwriting team to support data analysis, risk assessment, and business planning initiatives
Use available tools to conduct experience and exposure ratings to provide insights for strategic decision-making
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial projections, pricing strategies, and risk management solutions
Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in actuarial practices
Present data-driven insights and actuarial findings clearly to underwriters, brokers, and clients
