Our client is a globally recognized brand known for bringing joy, creativity, and color to everyday essentials. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team and help them optimize data-driven decision-making.
Role Overview:
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data pipelines are robust, efficient, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries to support data processing and analytics.
· Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
· Build and optimize data pipelines using orchestration and extraction tools.
· Work with dbt (if applicable) to transform and model data for analytics.
· Utilize Airflow for workflow automation and orchestration.
· Integrate data from various sources using Fivetran or Airbyte.
· Support Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics teams in creating insightful reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
· Strong proficiency in SQL.
· Hands-on experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
· Experience with orchestration and extraction tools.
Preferred:
· Experience with dbt for data modeling.
· Knowledge of Airflow for workflow automation.
· Experience with Fivetran or Airbyte for data integration.
· Exposure to BI/Analytics tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Tableau, Looker).
Personality & Work Style:
· Smart, adaptable, and easy-going.
· Passion for open-source projects, tech talks, or community engagement is a plus.
· Previous experience in startups or tech companies is preferred.
