Data Management Section Head
Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Data Management Section Head to join our dynamic IT leadership team. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development, implementation, and support of the bank’s data management systems, enabling smarter business decisions through reliable data infrastructure and business intelligence tools.
This role requires strong leadership, sound technical expertise in data modeling and ETL processes, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and execution of data management and integration projects.
Oversee data quality tracking, completeness assessments, and improvement efforts.
Collaborate with section heads and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Assess development scope to identify system change requests vs. new projects.
Prepare cost and timeline reports for project estimation and budgeting.
Monitor team activities, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
Analyze and address recurring issues using data trends, frequency, and impact assessments.
Conduct unit testing, quality control, and ensure timely resolution of system-related issues.
Submit regular status reports to the ABOSD Head and senior management.
Support R&D through continued learning, technical seminars, and innovation tracking.
Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing data systems in alignment with industry best practices.
Conduct performance reviews, mentor team members, and create training plans as needed.
Maintain effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any related field from a reputable institution.
At least 5 years of experience in the IT field, with 3 years in a supervisory or project management capacity.
Proven experience with ETL design/process, data modeling (relational & dimensional), and business intelligence tools.
Solid understanding of System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Detail-oriented, risk-aware, and results-driven.
₱65,000 – ₱75,000 per month
