The purpose of this job is be responsible in ensuring that the company is compliant with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the Data Protection Officer or Sr. Data Privacy Officer maintain National Privacy Commission certifications and registrations
Responsible for maintaining data privacy document archives and libraries
Assist business units in the conduct of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA), and use results to develop, formulate, recommend the appropriate organizational, physical and technical security measures, and update the company’s privacy policies.
Assist the Data Privacy Officer in reviewing and assessing third-party vendors/counterparties for privacy risks and compliance with contractual obligations.
Work closely with the Data Privacy Officer and business units to ensure the organization is up-to-date on privacy requirements, identify areas of concern, develop the relevant solutions, provide management response, track progress, and drive actions to completion.
Create and maintain training, communication and awareness materials on privacy and data protection.
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve privacy related issues/complaints.
What You Need To Have
Knowledge and experience in Data Privacy Law in any Banking/Financial and Telco industry.
Understanding of data processing operations and data security requirements.
Knowledge and experience in developing and assessing privacy policies and controls that minimize risk and ensure compliance.
