What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
3-4 years’ experience in a similar role with a focus on digital data
Web Analytics and Tagging: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium or other tag systems
Data Analysis: Strong excel proficiency and SQL (Snowflake, AWS, etc)
Business Intelligence Tools: PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc
Platform Knowledge: SAP BW, Business Objects, SAP CRM
Project management tools like Jira, Monday.com, etc
Strong proficiency in digital marketing and e-commerce concepts (Difference between different marketing channels, conversion rates, conversion attributions)
Experience with on-site analytics and web tracking technologies (website events, dimensions, tags, hit data, etc)
Nice to Have:
Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment, with resilience in the face of constant change.
Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple, on-going projects.
DBT Experience – Proficiency in building datasets and data pipelines using dbt beyond traditional SQL approaches
What will you do?
The Digital Analyst will support the Digital Tagging Manager, and our Digital Marketing and Insights, Data & Analytics teams to ideate, activate, deliver and accurately report on their campaigns. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and proactive, taking initiative to deliver key projects with support and guidance from the Digital Tagging & Martech Teams.
The role will work closely with the digital marketing teams to understand their growth objectives, ensuring the campaigns they deliver are personalized and effective in driving business growth. Utilizing their strong understanding of digital analytic concepts and SQL skills, the analyst will not only support the team with audience creation, control groups allocation and post-campaign analysis but also take ownership of these functions making it a pivotal role in the creation of a Centre of Excellence that enables business-wide capability and cross-functional personalization.
Support tagging governance and data implementation processes to ensure accurate data collection
Support the integration of digital tagging and analytics into the Officeworks Snowflake data warehouse, including for insights, Single View of Customer and Customer Data Platform (CDP) solution.
Assist the business with any adhoc reporting requests or fixing of reported bugs
Support the creation of any data modelling or SQL to enable digital channel campaign targeting; for example, writing a data model that segments contactable customers who have purchased certain product in the past 60 days
Creation, implementation and stratification of control and fallow groups for accurate campaign measurement
