Our awesome client, a merchandising company, based in the US is looking for a Product Owner / Business Analyst
WHAT IS A PRODUCT OWNER/BUSINESS ANALYST?
Work with Senior Product Managers on new feature development, research, analysis, and strategic planning.
Perform competitive analysis and solution research to solve complex challenges and identify opportunities for improvements and innovations.
Conduct testing of new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the acceptance criteria before deployment.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
Strong ability to prioritize and manage product feature enhancements, balancing business goals with user needs. Experience in driving product delivery and defining product vision, especially within the B2B and B2C e-commerce space.
Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Able to translate complex business needs into actionable product specifications.
In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Commerce platform, with the ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resolve technical challenges while driving innovative solutions for e-commerce features.
Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of product features.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions to improve user experiences and operational efficiency.
A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to design digital experiences that enhance satisfaction, drive engagement, and improve the overall customer journey in e-commerce and branded merchandise.
Proficient with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Soft skills
Clear communication of complex ideas to various audiences, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities, technologies, and feedback in a fast-paced digital environment.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to overcoming challenges, troubleshooting issues, and keeping product development on track.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar hybrid role, working in an ecommerce business.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento).
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
