We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst to join the team at Metro Drug, Inc. This full-time role is based in our Santa Rosa, Laguna office. As a Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of an effective planning process and monitoring of corporate and individual KPIs with respect to Accounts Receivable Management. You will participate in the process and collection innovations to streamline modes of payment and reconciliation and in special projects that will provide alternative opportunities in expediting the servicing of the trade customers.
What you’ll be doing
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Analysing financial data and identifying trends to provide insights and recommendations to management
Assisting with the month-end and year-end close processes
Performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and compliance requirements
Providing support and guidance to the finance and accounting team as needed
Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations
What we’re looking for
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
