The Team:
The team is responsible for overseeing firm wide project support, operational business analytics, process design and quality assurance as well as operations research focusing on topics including operating scale, control and emerging operating platforms.
Manila Innovations Team aims to deliver business solutions through software development, process automation and business intelligence projects.
The Role:
Collaborate with teams to understand their business needs, suggest solutions, and translate these into detailed requirements.
Identify and / or provide technology solutions applicable to business requirements.
Oversee the project life cycle from planning until its completion, ensuring alignment with the organizational goals, while adhering with the timelines and budgets
Be on-top of project’s progress through regular cadence, promoting transparency and engagement with the Stakeholders and the team members.
Ensure all necessary project documentations are available and compliant to company practices and standards.
Provide best practices and industry standards to ensure a consistent design and/or approach for analytics across the business areas.
Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Update job knowledge by upskilling on state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Any other related functions that the client may require.
The Requirements:
Ability to work well with teams effectively without supervision
A team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
Possess strong communication and client service skills
Well organized, detail oriented; able to multi-task and keep track of various deadlines
Hard-working and eager to learn in a highly intellectual and innovative environment
Excellent working knowledge in MS Office applications Excel, SQL, or VBA
Experience in data visualization, reporting and dashboard creation using Tableau
Experience in providing business solutions through project automations and streamlining initiatives
Knowledge of best engineering practices in agile software development: architectural paradigms, code reviews, branching, task management, documentation, testing
Education and Experience:
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent or combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
3+ years in IT with experience developing and implementing enterprise-scaler reports/dashboards/interfaces/extracts.
Experience working for an asset management or research firm is a plus.
