Job Description
Your Role:
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts and effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports, serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Working closely with clients, business, and managerial staff and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Performing user acceptance testing.
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Responsible for administers and timely updates on project progress, issue/risk, timelines, resource plan, and any other static data to various governance forums (i.e., Refinement Forum (RF), Steering Co, Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPR), etc.). Ensure the data is meaningful, accurate, relevant, and data is current.
Ensure the re-baseline requests / change requests, closure reports are fully documented before presenting for approval
Conduct research to see what’s new and trending in the digital / data space internally and externally
Creating and maintaining a prioritized Product Backlog
Clearly communicating priorities, sprint goals and acceptance criteria to the scrum team
Defining user stories to facilitate clear communication of requirements to the scrum team, including ‘definition of done’.
Act as a key player in the different events of the development cycle: daily scrums, team demos and retrospectives, SIT, UAT and sign-off from business stakeholders.
Review test cases and evidence to ensure enough test coverage
Your Profile:
10 +yrs of Senior Business Analyst experience
Documentation – Business Requirement Document (BRD) / User Stories / Functional Specification Document (FSD) / Business Glossary / Data Model / Test Strategy / Project Plan, Process Flow diagram etc.
Report types – Requirement Matrix/Gap Analysis/Problem Analysis/Business Case, etc.
Process/Data Modelling – ‘As Is’/’To Be’/ Visio/Enterprise Architect, etc.
Project Management Methodologies – Waterfall SDLC, Agile, Scrum etc.
Strong data analysis skills using SQL, MicroStrategy or Tableau preferable.
Proven problem-solving & process mapping & visualisation skills
Proven experience in Technology Resilience and Risk related projects preferred.
Presentation skills – Story telling using data visualisations would be advantageous.
Soft Skills – Communication/Negotiation/Relationship Building/Influencing/Coaching or mentoring junior BAs to build their skills
Experience in Agile tools (i.e., JIRA, Clarity, ADO Boards, Confluence, etc.)
Good understanding of APIs and has experience in API mapping.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Great Analytical skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of Project Governance standards, change management, financial management, project lifecycle and related lifecycle stages
Experience in with liaising and engaging with internal audit groups, external reviewers and regulators is a plus.
An industry-recognized BA certification is a plus
Able to work on a hybrid work set-up (3 Days onsite; 2 Days WFH) in Taguig
