Role Overview
As the Senior FP&A Analyst, you will provide end-to-end financial insight for our global e-commerce channels. Partnering with Sales, Operations, and IT, you will deliver timely sales-landing estimates, support month-end close, and produce high-impact management reports that drive strategic decisions across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly
Compile and analyse estimated sales landings across APAC, Americas, and EMEA e-commerce sites.
Flag risks and opportunities, providing initial commentary to commercial leads.
Monthly
Support routine close activities (claims review, accruals, payment run preparation).
Refresh financial-reporting datasets in Power BI, ERP, and management-reporting tools; reconcile anomalies.
Follow up on demand-forecast submissions and perform variance analysis vs prior months.
Review revenue/COGS data by channel, highlighting material deviations.
Update inventory-hold estimates and assess stock-out/overstock risk.
Quarterly
Maintain rebate-calculation models and validate data integrity.
Annual / Ad Hoc
Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) roll-outs, ensuring progress tracking against key strategies.
Provide data extractions, credit-note tracking, and other analytical support to regional finance teams.
Global FP&A Support
Produce monthly presentation decks for executive reporting.
Build and maintain detailed Excel models; generate ad-hoc analyses to supplement decision-making.
Coordinate purchase-requisition workflows for the global IT group.
Required Skills & Experience
3 + years in Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.
Strong grounding in accounting principles and month-end close processes.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI data modelling is desirable.
Hands-on experience with an ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to translate large data sets into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Excellent written and spoken English—comfortable presenting findings to U.S. and Australian counterparts.
Willingness to work mid-shift to graveyard hours to align with global reporting cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multi-currency, multi-entity organisations.
Familiarity with SQL or similar query languages for data extraction.
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) in progress or completed.
Why Join Us?
Influence data-driven decisions for a fast-growing, digitally focused enterprise.
Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote role while collaborating with global stakeholders.
Expand your skill set in a Microsoft-centric technology stack that leverages Power BI and Dynamics 365.
