Job Summary:
The EDI Gentran Analysts will be mainly responsible for providing analysis and programming, and support to ESSILOR clients primarily using EDI Gentran Technology. The resource will work in a team environment with responsibility for the on-time delivery of multiple customer projects, maintaining communication with the applications IT customers keeping them updated with the status of their requests and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established SLA’s.
Technical and Functional Competencies:
At least 5 years doing analysis and development using EDI Gentran or IBM Sterling technology
Strong foundation on EDI messages, concepts and processes Knowledge in communication protocols (e.g. SFTP)
Knowledge in basis SQL command and scripting Coordinates with QC team for testing of work output
Write and maintain programming and project documentation based on provided specifications.
Understands and uses CMMI defined processes and documentations.
Continuously improve knowledge through reading and self-study.
Responsible for doing brownbag training to the team.
Other duties as assigned by PM or Team Lead
Job Requirements:
Familiar with relational database concepts and SQL.
Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Must have excellent communication skill and service-oriented.
Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work within the company and a favorable image of the company.
Effectively manage and solve complex problems through problem-solving.
Work cooperatively in a team environment.
Remain flexible on changing workloads
