Job Description
The Technical Business Analyst will aid our Engineering team in handling day-to-day technical requests while also providing project support to our Product team. This key role allows the client to innovate and develop new products in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that our internal team’s needs are met. It requires a team player who can manage multiple tasks, is a stellar communicator, ruthless prioritizer, and master problem solver. Primary responsibilities range from performing user acceptance testing, answering system-related questions, handling ad-hoc technical requests, vetting new feature requests, logging features & bugs, and taking meeting notes.
This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and will interface with Engineering, Product and all other internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities
● Ability to absorb information and get up to speed quickly
● Act as a knowledgeable resource for our website & backend tool functionality
● Perform quality assurance (QA) testing for new features and bug fixes
● Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for larger technical projects
● Ask clarifying questions, reproduce issues and route tasks to appropriate team members
● Assist with Jira task, backlog and sprint organization
● Proactively surface improvements around tools and team processes
● Review bugs and feature requests submitted to our team, taking note of impact, priority and possible solutions
● Create, manage and maintain technical documentation
● Take detailed meeting notes
Requirements
● Amenable to night shift; 8:30am-5:30pm CST (US) // 9:30pm-6:30am PHT (PH)
● Willing to work in a hybrid set-up
● 3+ years of experience managing or supporting technical projects
● 3+ years of experience with hands-on QA or UAT testing
● 3+ years experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
● Proficiency with Jira, or equivalent project/task management software
● Excellent English communication skills both oral and written
● Ability to think quickly, clearly and problem-solve on the fly
● Top notch organizational and analytical skills
● Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
● Ability to be available and work within US business hours
Nice to have qualifications
● College degree in a technical or related field
● Proficiency with MacBook laptops MacOS
● Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Chat, Docs, Sheets), or equivalent software
● Experience writing SQL queries and performing data analysis
● Experience owning and leading technical projects
● Experience contributing to software development lifecycles
● Experience writing technical documentation for features, projects or processes
